At the beginning of 2015, with over 14 years of experience in the jewellery industry, Margaret Blood came to a life changing moment. With the thought of becoming complacent and stale, Margaret soon realised she could offer so much back to an industry that she loves and thoroughly enjoys.

Taking extended time off in 2015 to regroup and ponder the future, it soon became clear, the jewellery industry was where she should stay. With the wealth of hands-on experience in many areas (as mentioned below), and having had, and continuing to have, many amazing mentors throughout the jewellery industry, Blood Consulting evolved, providing unique support to others with a point of difference.

Experience includes office management, bookkeeping, sales, design work and much more. She is a qualified Gemmologist, Diamond Grader, has completed the Diploma in Diamond Technology, and is a current registered Jewellery Valuer. In more recent times proudly becoming the President of the Gemmological Association of Australia (Victorian Division) in April 2016.
